BLUE CHEESE AND APPLE SALAD
Tangy blue cheese and crisp apples are a classic combination. This side salad makes the most of both, along with mixed greens, walnuts and a maple dressing.

BLUE CHEESE AND APPLE SALAD
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup maple-flavoured pancake syrup
- 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp freshly ground pepper
- 2 tbsp canola oil
- 8 cups torn mixed greens
- 2 red apples, thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup crumbled blue cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped toasted walnuts
Directions
- To prepare dressing, whisk together syrup, lemon juice, mustard, salt and pepper until combined. Gradually whisk in oil until blended.
- Combine greens, apples, cheese and walnuts in a bowl. Add dressing and toss to coat. Serve immediately.
