CORN AMANDINE
Sliced almonds, butter, garlic and parsley turn frozen corn kernels into a dinner-worthy side dish.

CORN AMANDINE
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup salted butter
- 1/2 cup sliced almonds
- 8 cups frozen kernel corn
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 tsp chicken bouillon mix
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp freshly ground pepper
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
Directions
- Melt butter in a frypan over medium heat. Add almonds and sauté until lightly browned, about 3 minutes.
- Stir in corn, water, bouillon mix, garlic powder and pepper.
- Bring to a boil; reduce heat, cover and simmer until corn is tender and most of liquid is absorbed, about 5 - 7 minutes. Sprinkle with parsley.
