EGGNOG LATTE

Cap off your Christmas dinner with a round of these warm after-dinner drinks. Eggnog and espresso are spiked with brandy and coffee liqueur.

Yield: Serves 6.

EGGNOG LATTE

Ingredients

  • 4 cups eggnog
  • 2 tbsp rum or coffee liqueur
  • 2 tbsp brandy
  • 2 cups freshly brewed strong coffee or espresso
  • Freshly ground nutmeg*

Directions

  1. In a heavy saucepan, heat eggnog over medium heat until hot; do not boil.
  2. Stir rum and brandy into coffee.
  3. Pour one-third each of coffee mixture and eggnog into a blender. Cover and blend until very frothy.
  4. Pour into cups and sprinkle with nutmeg. Repeat procedure twice with remaining ingredients.
