FROZEN STRAWBERRY MARGARITA MOUSSE
Ingredients
4 cups halved strawberries
1/4 cup fresh lime juice
2 tbsp tequila
2 tbsp triple sec or Cointreau
1 tbsp grated lime peel
1 can sweetened condensed milk
1 1/2 cups whipping cream, whipped
Directions
Place strawberries, lime juice, tequila, triple sec and lime peel in a blender; puree until smooth. Add sweetened condensed milk and blend until combined.
Transfer to a large bowl. Let stand for 5 minutes. Fold a quarter of whipped cream into strawberry mixture to lighten. Fold in remaining whipped cream until blended.
Spoon mixture into margarita glasses or a serving bowl. Cover and freeze for at least 8 hours or up to 2 weeks.
