GARLICKY MUSHROOMS WITH CROUTONS
This buttery side dish combines oven baked mushrooms with crunchy croutons. Serve it alongside roast or barbecued meats.

GARLICKY MUSHROOMS WITH CROUTONS
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup salted butter
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp freshly ground pepper
- 8 cups whole fresh mushrooms
- 2 cups crustless white bread cubes, toasted
- 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
Directions
- Preheat oven to 375°F.
- Combine butter, garlic, salt and pepper in a small frypan. Cook over medium heat until butter is melted. Place mushrooms in a 9x13 inch baking dish. Pour butter mixture over mushrooms and toss to combine. Arrange mushrooms in a single layer. Bake, uncovered, until mushrooms are soft and heated through, about 15 - 20 minutes. Remove baking dish from oven. Add bread cubes; stir gently to combine. Transfer to a serving dish and sprinkle with parsley. Serve immediately.
