GINGER SESAME GREEN BEANS
Ingredients
- 5 cups fresh or frozen trimmed green beans
- 2 tbsp oil
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp grated fresh ginger
- 1 clove garlic, thinly sliced
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/8 tsp freshly ground pepper
- 1/8 tsp thyme, crumbled
Directions
- Cook beans in boiling salted water for 2 minutes; drain. Cool immediately in ice water; drain. Beans may be prepared to this point and refrigerated for up to 24 hours.
- Heat canola oil and sesame oil in a frypan over medium heat. Add ginger, garlic, salt, pepper and thyme; saute for 1 minute.
- Add beans and saute until heated through, about 4 minutes. Serve immediately.
