Grilled Herb Cheese Bread
This cheese bread is so barbecue-worthy. The combination of cream cheese, basil, and dill toasted on a baguette makes this an excellent side to all barbecue meats or fish.

Grilled Herb Cheese Bread
Ingredients
- 4 oz (125 g) light cream cheese, softened
- 2 tbsp salted butter, softened
- 1 clove garlic, crushed
- 1/2 tsp basil, crumbled
- 1/4 tsp dill weed
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
- Dash freshly ground pepper
- 1 multigrain baguette, split lengthwise
Directions
- Combine all ingredients except baguette until well blended.
- Wrap baguette halves individually in foil, leaving cut side open.
- Spread cheese mixture over cut side of baguette halves.
- Heat bread over low heat directly on grid or on warming rack on natural gas barbecue for 10 – 15 minutes or until heated through.
- Slice bread and serve.
