GRILLED HERBED ASPARAGUS
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil
- 1/4 tsp basil, crumbled
- 1/8 tsp thyme crumbled
- 2 tsp chopped fresh parsley
- 1 green onion, finely chopped
- 1 lb asparagus trimmed
Directions
- To prepare marinade, combine oil, basil, thyme, parsley and green onion. Toss with asparagus. Let stand 30 minutes.
- Meanwhile, preheat natural gas barbecue on medium heat for 10 - 15 minutes.
- Drain vegetables; discard marinade. Grill asparagus directly on grid, turning occasionally, until tender, about 5 - 7 minutes.
