HOT CRAB DIP
This hot dip is a classic at both holiday parties and game-night get-togethers. This creamy cheese dip is great with crackers or sliced baguette.
Yield: Makes 2 1/2 cups.

HOT CRAB DIP
Ingredients
- 1 can crabmeat, rinsed and drained
- 8 oz (250 g) cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup thinly sliced green onion
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup dry white wine
- 1 tsp dry mustard
- 1 clove garlic, crushed
- Dash hot pepper sauce
- 1/4 cup sliced almonds, toasted
- Paprika*
- Crackers*
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Combine crabmeat, cream cheese, Parmesan, green onion, mayonnaise, white wine, mustard, garlic and hot pepper sauce.
- Using medium speed of an electric mixer, beat just until blended.
- Spread mixture in a lightly greased shallow 1 quart baking dish or glass pie plate. Sprinkle with almonds and dust with paprika.
- Bake until hot and bubbly, about 20 minutes. Serve with crackers.
