KIDS COOLER

If your little ones won’t eat their vegetables, you may have better luck getting them to drink them! This smoothie is packed with cucumber, spinach and plenty of fruit for a healthy and refreshing drink.

Yield: Serves 4.

Ingredients

  • ​1 cup cubed seeded English cucumber
  • 1 cup fresh spinach
  • 1 cup seedless green grapes
  • 1/2 cup thawed frozen limeade concentrate
  • 2 cups cubed honeydew melon
  • 1/2 cup cubed peeled kiwi fruit
  • 1/2 cup green tea, chilled
  • 1 cup vanilla yogurt

Directions

  1. Place cucumber, spinach, grapes and limeade concentrate in a blender. Blend, using an on/off motion, until cucumber, spinach and grapes are finely chopped. Add melon, kiwi and green tea; purée until smooth. Add yogurt and blend until combined. Pour into glasses. Serve immediately.
