MUSTARD HORSERADISH STEAKS

Horseradish complements the taste of beef beautifully. Marinated your meat in a mix of mustard, horseradish and garlic for a twist on standard barbecued steak.

MUSTARD HORSERADISH STEAKS

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp whole grain mustard
  • 2 tbsp canola oil
  • 2 tsp prepared horseradish
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp freshly ground pepper
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • 2 rib steaks, 1 inch thick

Directions

  1. Combine all ingredients except steaks in a heavy zip-lock plastic bag. Add steaks and squeeze bag to coat steaks with seasoning mixture; seal bag. Let stand for 30 minutes.
  2. Meanwhile, preheat natural gas barbecue on medium heat for 10 - 15 minutes.
  3. Remove steaks from bag.
  4. Grill steaks over medium heat on natural gas barbecue to desired doneness.
