PINK GREEN TEA PUNCH

The colour in this refreshing green tea beverage comes from grapefruit juice and grenadine. Add a little bit of gin to turn it into a cocktail.

PINK GREEN TEA PUNCH

Ingredients

  • 4 cups water
  • 4 green tea bags
  • 4 cups red grapefruit juice blend, chilled
  • 2 tbsp grenadine
  • 4 cups carbonated lemon-lime beverage, chilled

Directions

  1. Bring water to a boil in a small non-reactive saucepan. Remove from heat. Add tea bags. Cover and let steep for 5 minutes.
  2. Strain tea through a sieve into a large pitcher, pressing on tea bags to extract as much tea as possible; discard tea bags. Stir in grapefruit juice and grenadine. Refrigerate for 1 hour or until mixture is cold.
  3. Pour mixture into a punch bowl. Stir in lemon-lime beverage. Serve immediately.
