Quick Beef Broth Fondue
Fondue does not have to be just cheese. A simple beef broth is a great way to cook cubes of beef or vegetables and then enjoy with your favourite dipping sauces.

Quick Beef Broth Fondue
Ingredients
- 8 cups no-salt-added beef broth
- 1 cup water
- 1 tbsp grated fresh ginger
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 green onions, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 8 black peppercorns
- Salt to taste
Directions
- In a large saucepan, combine broth, water, ginger, soy sauce, onions, garlic and peppercorns. Bring to a simmer over medium heat.
- Remove from heat; let stand for 30 minutes.
- Strain; season with salt.
- Transfer to a metal fondue pot and keep hot.
- May be prepared and refrigerated up to 24 hours.
Tip: Use to cook vegetables or thin strips of beef or game.
