Quick Chicken Broth Fondue
Fondue is traditionally made with a variety of cheese, but it doesn’t have to be. Try this quick chicken broth to cook cubes of chicken, seafood or vegetables.

Quick Chicken Broth Fondue
Ingredients
- 8 cups no-salt-added chicken broth
- 1 cup water
- 1 tbsp grated fresh ginger
- 2 green onions, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 8 black peppercorns
- Salt to taste
Directions
- In a large saucepan, combine broth, water, ginger, onions, garlic and peppercorns.
- Bring to a simmer over medium heat. Remove from heat; let stand for 30 minutes.
- Strain; season with salt.
- Transfer to a metal fondue pot and keep hot.
- May be prepared and refrigerated up to 24 hours.
Tip: Use to cook thin slices of chicken, large shrimp, scallops, or vegetables.
