Simply Special Salad

This pretty salad is easy to assemble and is special enough to make for an elegant meal.

Simply Special Salad

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp white wine vinegar
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 tsp granulated sugar
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/8 tsp freshly ground pepper
  • 2 tbsp canola oil
  • 8 cups torn romaine lettuce
  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries
  • 1/2 cup coarsely chopped walnuts
  • 1/2 cup crumbled blue cheese

Directions

  1. To prepare dressing, whisk together mayonnaise, white wine vinegar, Dijon mustard, sugar, salt and pepper until combined. Gradually whisk in oil until blended.
  2. Combine lettuce, cranberries, walnuts and cheese in a bowl. Add dressing and toss to coat. Serve immediately.
