Spinach Salad with Strawberries and Poppy Seed Dressing
We brought sweet and tangy flavours to this classic summer salad by combining a creamy homemade dressing and fresh strawberries with the earthy flavour of spinach. Serve this delicious salad at your next family gathering or potluck.

Spinach Salad with Strawberries and Poppy Seed Dressing
Ingredients
- 1/3 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp milk (2%)
- 2 tbsp granulated sugar
- 1 tbsp poppy seed
- 1 tbsp white wine vinegar
- 1/8 tsp salt
- 8 cups baby spinach or torn romaine lettuce
- 2 cups sliced strawberries
- 1/4 cup slivered almonds, toasted
Directions
- To prepare dressing, whisk together mayonnaise, milk, sugar, poppy seed, vinegar and salt in a bowl until blended.
- Combine spinach, strawberries and almonds in a large bowl.
- Toss with dressing to coat. Serve immediately.
