STRAWBERRY PINEAPPLE FREEZER JAM
Freezer jams are a quick and easy way to preserve your favourite summer fruit, we combined pineapple with strawberries for a tropical twist.

STRAWBERRY PINEAPPLE FREEZER JAM
Ingredients
- 2 cups crushed ripe strawberries (about 4 cups whole strawberries)
- 1/2 cup crushed pineapple, with juice
- 4 1/2 cups granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 1 pouch liquid fruit pectin
Directions
- Thoroughly combine strawberries, pineapple with juice in a bowl. Stir in sugar; mix well and let stand 10 minutes.
- Combine lemon juice and pectin in a small bowl. Stir pectin into fruit mixture and continue to stir for 3 minutes until sugar is dissolved. A few sugar crystals may remain.
- Ladle into freezer containers. Cover and let stand at room temperature until set, up to 24 hours. Store in freezer for up to one year or refrigerator for up to 3 weeks.
