Turkey Burgers with Spicy Sauce

Lean turkey burgers with creamy spicy sauce, fire up the grill!

Yield: 6 burger patties

Turkey Burgers with Spicy Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 lb (500 g) ground turkey
  • 1 cup dry bread crumbs
  • 1/2 cup plain yogurt
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 3/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp freshly ground pepper
  • 1 tsp fresh tarragon
  • 3 tbsp chopped parsley
  • 1/2 tsp fresh thyme
  • 6 hamburger buns, toasted
  • Lettuce leaves*
  • Tomato slices *
  • Spicy Sauce, recipe follows*

Directions

  1. Combine first 10 ingredients. Shape into 6 patties.
  2. Grill over medium heat on a natural gas barbecue until completely cooked, but not dry.
  3. Serve in buns with lettuce, tomato and Spicy Sauce.

Spicy Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup mayonnaise
  • 3 tbsp chili sauce
  • 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp steak sauce
  • Few dashes Tabasco sauce

Yield: Makes about 1/2 cup.

Directions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a small bowl. Cover and refrigerate until serving.
