WARM PEARS AND HONEY SYRUP
Ingredients
- 3 firm ripe pears, peeled, cored and quartered lengthwise

- 1/4 cup water
- 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 2 tbsp salted butter, melted
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
Directions
- Preheat oven to 375°F.
- Place pears, cut side down, in a greased 7x11 inch glass baking dish.

- Pour honey mixture from baking dish into a small non-reactive saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring frequently.
- Reduce heat and simmer, stirring frequently, until mixture is the consistency of a thin syrup, about 6 minutes. There should be about 1/2 cup.
