Come over for afternoon tea
Although many of us think of Afternoon Tea as a high-class, fancy affair, traditionally, it was an early meal for the British working class. Today, we serve afternoon tea as a light meal to tide us over until dinner.
Tea includes both sweet and savoury items that can be eaten in 1 to 2 bites and are foods that can be prepared ahead of time. Afternoon tea can either be served buffet-style or passed around on a tray. The only thing you need to serve is the tea itself, leaving you plenty of time to enjoy socializing with your guests.
